Privacy Policy

Your account. An email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google gives us. We never receive or store a password — sign-in is either a one-time link sent to your email, or Google.

Your plans. The floor plans you save: the drawing itself, room names, dimensions, and any block details you enter such as size, address or lot number. Plans you draw without saving stay in your browser and never reach us.

Billing. If you subscribe, we keep your Stripe customer reference, subscription status, plan and renewal date. We never see or store your card details — those go directly to Stripe.

Usage. Standard web analytics: pages visited, rough location by country, device and browser. Analytics only runs when a measurement ID is configured, and IP addresses are anonymised.

We use it to run the product: keep you signed in, store and show your plans, generate the documents you ask for, take payment, and answer you when you get in touch. We also use aggregate usage to work out which parts of the site are worth improving.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your plans to train AI models.

When you describe a home in words, or import an existing floor plan as an image or PDF, we send that description or file to an AI provider to turn it into an editable plan. That content is transmitted for processing and returned; it is not used by us for any other purpose. If you would rather nothing left your device, draw the plan yourself — the editor works fully without the AI features.

Essential. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived security cookie used during sign-in. The site cannot work without these and they are not used for tracking.

Analytics. When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. You can block these in your browser, or use a content blocker, and the site will keep working normally.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run ads.

Running the product means using other companies. Each one only receives what it needs for the job listed:

Several are based overseas, which means your information may be stored or processed outside Australia.

A share link you create is a private URL: anyone holding it can view that plan, so treat it like a key. Share links can be revoked at any time from the editor, and they expire on their own after 90 days.

Your account and plans stay until you delete them. Delete a plan and it goes. Delete your account and everything attached to it goes with it, straight away.

One exception: records of payments are kept as long as Australian tax and record-keeping law requires, even after an account is deleted.

You can see and correct your details, export a plan at any time, and delete individual plans or the whole account yourself from your account page. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need a reason.

Data is encrypted in transit, and at rest by our hosting and database providers. Access to production data is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the law requires it.

If you think we have mishandled your information, email info@filero.app and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell account holders by email.
